Philip Rivers has been in the league for 100 years, so there’s nothing he hasn’t seen from opposing defenses, but during the Chargers 26-10 win over the Raiders, Oakland showed Rivers a defense that was so laughable he had to make fun of it…during the play.
An on-field mic picked up Rivers mocking the Raiders for lining up in an undisguised base defense while making his pre-snap adjustments and just flat out telling tight end Virgil Green to run a seam route without using any sneaky audible calls.
Oakland’s D is awful, but getting openly mocked by an opposing QB has to sting.
