After 14 seasons in the NFL, Philip Rivers is basically a coach on the field, and could probably be a high level coach the minute he hangs up his cleats.
If you were wondering what Coach Rivers might look like, a video of the N.C. State alum giving a motivational speech to the Wolfpack football team from 2016 that’s currently making the rounds on social media gives a compelling glimpse.
In the clip, Rivers love for the game comes through loud and clear as he gets the squad ready to run through a wall by talking about the toughness, playing for your teammates, and love for the game that it takes to succeed at a high level.
It’s not hard to picture Rivers patrolling the sidelines after watching this. The dude just loves football.
