After LeBron decided to sign with the Lakers, the recruiting battle for his oldest son Bronny got underway. Ultimately – after probably deliberating in the family “decision cave” – the James Team decided to enroll the nationally ranked 8th grader at Crossroads School in Santa Monica.
Last night the ultra-hyped 5’10” 14-year-old made his middle school debut with his pops in attendance, and looked LeBron’ish while dropping 27 points and throwing down a legit in-game dunk in a 61-48 win. Not bad for an 8th grader.
Next year, Bronny will team up with Shaq’s son, Shaqir, on the Crossroads high school team. Good luck, the rest of California.
Watch Bronny get his Cali career started with a bang.
