Fans distracting opposing players during free throws is as old as basketball itself, but one Cal State Northridge fan has taken the practice to an entirely different – more annoying – level.
During the Matadors roadie at Washington State last week, one Northridge die-hard female fan used terrifying B-horror movie screams in order to distract Cougar players a the stripe. All is normally fair when it comes to fan distractions, but this is borderline ejectionable. Ultimately, all the shrieking in the world couldn’t stop Northridge from taking the 103-94 L.
Also, who travels to away Cal State Northridge basketball games all the way in Pullman, Washington? That’s just weird.
Listen to this nightmare fuel. Let’s hope it doesn’t catch on, for the sake of everyone’s sanity.

Apparently this isn’t her first rodeo. This YouTube video of screaming lady was posted 6 years ago. That’s a lot of shrieking.
