By now, everyone has seen video of Reds Pitcher Amir Garrett going on a one man mission to fight the entire Pittsburgh Pirates organization, but the biggest loser from the MLB’s version of Avengers: End Game was Pirates slight-framed hurler Chris Archer.
Archer tried to provide some backup for his teammates, but for his good deed he was rewarded by getting stampeded like the running of the bulls. If that wasn’t bad enough, Amir Garett – who started the entire thing by turning into a human badger – ended up on top of Archer to administer some additional pummeling.
Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t the right right decision. This is one of those instances.
