May 1, 2019 By AM 1530

The biggest storyline heading into the NFL Draft was if the Cardinals were prepared to abort the Josh Rosen experiment after one year and draft Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray with the first overall pick. They did, and shipped Rosen for a second round pick and a future fifth rounder to Miami. While Rosen’s time in Arizona was unremarkable, he has a chance to reboot his career with the … [Read more...] about Bucky Brooks Explains Why The Dolphins’ Josh Rosen Trade is Reminiscent of Favre to Green Bay

April 30, 2019 By AM 1530

As Game of Thrones dominated Sunday night TV like an NFL game, but author George R.R. Martin – who wrote the novels on which the series is based –  had other things on his mind besides how the slaying of the Night King was received. He was focused on the NFL Draft like the rest of us. You see, Martin may be swimming in piles of cash from the record breaking series based on his … [Read more...] about Game of Thrones Author/Hardcore Giants Fan George R.R. April 27, 2019 By AM 1530

Almost immediately after the Seahawks drafted combine superhero D.K. Metcalf with the 32nd pick in the second round, a story began circulating that Metcalf showed up shirtless to his pre-draft meeting with the Seahawks, only to be one upped by Pete Carroll taking his shirt off. Well, it turns out the rumors are true, and we know because the Seahawks posted a video of the … [Read more...] about Pete Carroll and D.K. Giants GM Dave Gettleman Not Opposed to Sittting Daniel Jones for Three Years Like Aaron Rodgers

April 26, 2019 By AM 1530

The Giants decided they couldn’t wait to jump all over Duke QB Daniel Jones with the sixth pick in the first round, but GM Dave Gettleman doesn’t seem like he’s in any hurry to get him on the field. In a rambling post first round presser, Gettleman – flanked by head coach Pat Shurmur – gushed over Jones intangibles, but made the head scratching declaration that Eli Manning will … [Read more...] about Giants GM Dave Gettleman Not Opposed to Sittting Daniel Jones for Three Years Like Aaron Rodgers

The NFL Draft kicks off tonight in Nashville and, as of this afternoon, word hasn’t leaked about which way Arizona will go with the number one pick. Will they turn the franchise over to Kyler Murray, or keep Josh Rosen and draft a pass rusher? Will Daniel Jones be the second QB off the board? Will Belichick trade up in the first? Will Washington blow it, again? What will Gruden … [Read more...] about Colin’s 5 2019 NFL Draft Predictions

The Korean Broadcast Call of Dame Lillard’s Series Clinching Dagger is an All-Timer

April 24, 2019 By AM 1530

Dame Lillard finished off his first round series beef with Russell Westbrook by lighting up the Thunder for 50 and hitting the series clinching three from just inside the logo as time expired to give Portland a 118-115 Game 5 win. Any series winning dagger is an all-time playoff moment, but the Korean broadcast call of the shot of the year (so far) somehow does it justice. … [Read more...] about The Korean Broadcast Call of Dame Lillard’s Series Clinching Dagger is an All-Timer
