Odell Beckham Has Gone From Circus Catches To Just Being A Circus

May 17, 2019 By AM 1530

After being acquired by the Browns in the trade of the NFL offseason, Odell Beckham decided to skip out on Browns OTA’s, which predictably became a national story. Yesterday on the show, Colin did a segment on OBJ’s 10 most memorable moments, pointing out that his off-field distractions now outweigh his memorable on-field moments.

Odell wasn’t happy about the segment and fired off a lengthy Twitter tirade blasting Colin – and got an assist from Baker Mayfield piling on – but the entire exercise only proved his point. Colin hasn’t been as hot on the Browns, in large part, because of the circus-like atmosphere surrounding the team and Beckham’s propensity for drama. We’re not even through OTA’s and the Browns are already dysfunctional. Based on Beckham’s history, there’s likely plenty more to come.

Odell is one of the most talented receivers in a generation, but as he enters this season, he’s more known for being a circus than making internet shattering circus catches. Now the circus is in town and Cleveland, and it’s not going away.
