Ex-Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy won’t be patrolling the sidelines in Green Bay this year, but he’s not finished having out with the refs.
McCarthy was in attendance to watch his step-son’s high school basketball team lose a one-point heartbreaker to end their season, and after the buzzer he sought out some of the refs as they were leaving the floor to give them a piece of his mind. One of the refs described being verbally berated by McCarthy with a flurry of inappropriate language. The zebras were escorted off the floor before the situation escalated, and a complaint has been filed against McCarthy with the WIAA high school athletic commission.
