Kliff Kingsbury set a likely unbreakable record for failing upward in life when he parlayed being fired from Texas Tech into the head coaching job with the Arizona Cardinals in a couple short months.
Kingsbury’s NFL future will solely depend on if he can develop second year starter Josh Rosen in the same manner that Sean McVay developed Jared Goff, but a video from the past season shows that Kingsbury may be more of a fan of Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray.
In the interview clip from October 28th, Kingsbury gushes praise over Murray to the point where it kind of makes you blush. He also says that if he could, he would take Murray with the #1 overall pick in the draft. Hopefully Josh Rosen doesn’t see this and feel like Kingsbury’s side chick. In all seriousness, this isn’t scandalous, but more of a helluva funny little coincidence.
Kliff Kingsbury hearts Kyler Murray, pass it on.
