The Woosley wildfires have been raging in Southern California and have caused massive loss of property and unfortunately some loss of life, but within the devastation and tragedy are some incredible stories of survival.
Malibu resident Rebecca Hackett filmed her death defying escape as she attempted to navigate through smoke and flames with practically zero visibility after high winds stoked the fire threatened to engulf her. She had been out to a local ranch to check on horses she keeps there, but relative calm turned into a raging inferno in a matter of minutes due to the high winds.
The video is terrifying and will have your heart racing, but luckily she made it out even though the video doesn’t show it. Keep those affected by the fire in your thoughts. This is a massive disaster affecting real lives.
