There are few species of sports fan lower than the grown up who wrestles foul balls away from young kids, and we have a sighting.
At the Big Ten Baseball tournament in Omaha yesterday, a middle aged Iowa fan ended up with a foul ball after a one-on-one battle with a young kid for the souvenir. Mr. Iowa couldn’t have been happier because getting a foul ball is the best, even if it means crushing a small piece of a kid’s dreams.
This big shot ended up getting a small public shaming at the game, and a large digital one. Just be a good person. It’s not that hard.
That’s just foul. pic.twitter.com/Jn22GgWac1

It actually did end up working out for the kid because after the Ohio State team heard about his run in with Johnny Try Hard, they gave him a ball signed by the entire team.
Don’t worry fans, this Buckeye fan got his ball. Signed by the team. #GoBucks pic.twitter.com/39I97uk1pT
