Now that his college career is over, Zion Williamson will be the #1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. In terms of his NBA career, most view Zion as an almost guaranteed superstar at the next level because of his generational athletic ability. Not Gilbert Arenas.
During a video clip from his podcast, the 3-time all-star – and career 20 point per game scorer – explained that he hasn’t seen Williamson demonstrate any of the skills that it takes to be a big-time scorer in the NBA, and that his calling card athletic dominance against inferior competition won’t get it done in the league. Additionally, he thinks Zion’s weight could be end up being a problem, considering he’s already 285 pounds.
We’ll see if the NBA team that lands the #1 pick agrees with Arenas. Gonna go with no.
