There aren’t too many more ridiculous scenes than “fashion week” and the overly self-important fashionistas that are awed by runway models wearing a jock strap, an astronaut helmet and a cape made from recycled seaweed, while holding a wounded falcon.
Some bros in the U.K. also noticed the absurdity of the whole thing and had an idea for a prank to expose it in all its glory. The master plan was to blow away the highly exclusive London Fashion Week crowd by dressing up one of their friends like a complete idiot with a bunch of cheap junk they bought. After making their buddy Max look as ridiculous as possible they headed to the show to see if anyone would buy that he was an international model from Bucharest.
Not only did everyone believe the kid was a model, he was swarmed by photographers who didn’t think twice that his head cone made from packing bubble wrap was out of place. By the end of it all, his outfit of random trash was all the buzz.
How stupid is the fashion industry? It’s this stupid.
