Bill Belichick is notoriously tight lipped when it comes to talking to the media, and famously divulges next to zero insight about strategy and players while mumbling his way until the merciful end of a presser.
That’s why the relatively little known Belichick Breakdown segment produced by the New England media team is absolute gold. In the segment, the greatest coach of all time painstakingly breaks down the film on the past week’s game, giving fans the ability to see the game through the greatest set of football eyes that god has ever bestowed upon a human.
In the segment, Belichick looks at the tape of the Pats Week 1 win over the Texans, and runs through the X’s and O’s of how the Pats torched the Houston D, and the schemes he used to baffle Deshaun Watson in his return from injury.
Even if you’re a New England hater, this is a free football education and will make you a smarter football fan. Watch the Genius do what he does. Love this. Before you send @’s about this being from Week 1, he hasn’t cut the segment from the Week 2 loss to the Jags. Maybe Bill will call in sick for the segment this week.
